About Savannah

I’m Savannah, creator of Bare Bones Spirituality! I grew up as a pastor’s kid — surrounded by faith and blessed to experience the undeniable love of God. But I also witnessed how fear, judgment, and control can cloud that love, leaving people feeling unworthy, disconnected, and spiritually adrift.

When the systems meant to bring me closer to God began doing the opposite, I stepped away — not from faith, but from the noise. I searched for God outside the walls of religion, and what I found was clear: God was never far. God had been walking with me the whole time.

Bare Bones Spirituality was born from that knowing — that we don’t need dogma to be close to the Divine. We need love. We need truth. We need the courage to walk with God in a way that’s personal, honest, and soul-rooted.

My mission is to guide those who’ve been left out, let down, or spiritually displaced. This work is for the misfits, the deconstructors, the curious ones who still believe in something deeper — even if they don’t have the words for it yet.
